We are expanding!

In a year and a half, we have gone from 0 to over 40 children & youth. God is drawing young families to us to disciple the next generation.

To accommodate this growth and to invest in the next generation by disciplining and equipping our children and youth, we are adding on the space necessary to accomplish this mission.

OUR VALUES

engaging worship

There is nothing we have that God did not give. We have spiritual life because God drew us to him. He was the first to love us when we were unloveable. He showed us a grace that we did not deserve. He transferred us from the Kingdom of Darkness to the Kingdom of Light. How then, could we not give him all honor and praise? We believe that everyone was created to be a worshiper and it is to the glory of the Father and the benefit of the believer to worship Him in every aspect of life, not just the singing portion of Sunday mornings.

Romans 12:1

"I appeal to you, therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship."

biblical
authority

We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the only infallible rule of faith and practice. As the objective source of truth in our world, Scripture is authoritative, relevant, and the solid foundation on which we unapologetically stand. Furthermore, it is not merely a historical document — it is the living Word of God, profitable for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work."

Intentional discipleship

Life Groups

Meeting in living rooms to do life together is a primary vehicle of discipleship. In fact, if you are looking for the best way to connect with other faithful believers outside of Sunday mornings, getting plugged into a Life Group is it.

Children & Teens

We believe the best way for children and youth to grow in their faith is to see their parents live it out. In this way, they are like a stream kept on course by two riverbanks — the parents and the church. Consequently, at Ashe Alliance we strive to equip parents to take up the sacred responsibility of discipling their children, while also providing Bible-saturated programming for all ages.

Adult Ministries

As we continue to grow and establish godly leaders within the church, we will offer dedicated Bible studies for men and women. Because strong individuals build a strong church, this investment in adults is central to our vision.

Ephesians 4:12-13

"equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, to build up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God's Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ's fullness."

relational
evangelism

Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Moreover, His final command before ascending into heaven was to go into all nations and make disciples. We are therefore commissioned to go outside the church walls — building genuine relationships with those who do not yet know Jesus, with the desire to see them come to a saving knowledge of Him.

Acts 1:8

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Gifted Service

Everyone Has A Gift

In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul likens the church to one body with many parts, and his encouragement is that every person's involvement is crucial. Similarly, we believe that every person carries a unique gift and talent. Our desire, then, is to see you grow in that gift — so the church is edified and God is magnified.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26

"For just as the body is one and has many parts, and all the parts of that body, though many, are one body - so also is Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body..."

Devoted
Prayer

Throughout the book of Acts, the early church was consistently devoted to prayer. They prayed for one another, for boldness, and for God's will in the midst of persecution. Because of this, our desire is to model ourselves after that 1st Century church and make prayer the foundation for every decision we make.

James 5:16

"The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."

Joyful Generosity

Tithing is the most common way we think about giving — and of course, the church cannot function without the monetary gifts of the congregation. However, generosity goes far beyond the tithe. You also have your time, talents, and prayer to offer. Therefore, we encourage a holistic approach to giving, and above all, a joyful heart — knowing your gifts are being used by God to accomplish His mission through the local church.

2 Corinthians 9:7

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
